Squares for Rebekah
Originally I had not planned to do any embroidery, but after I finished the blocks, I felt that they would probably benefit from a little more embellishment. So I added a little running stitch around the maroon solid. I’m happy with how they turned out.
I did not add much of my own fabric to these blocks, because the fabric Rebekah sent was so pretty together already. I did add a few little bits – I have to admit that I love the tiny black polka-dot square (see pic below).

This is lovely. Great colors/patterns and I like the subtle touch of hand stitching.

beautiful blocks! I got them in the mail earlier this week and was so excited to see them. The stitching is the perfect frame for the patchwork
